Model 5100 Programmable Vacuum Soldering Furnace
The SST Model 5100 is a large format programmable vacuum/pressure soldering furnace that is ideally suited for void-free and flux-free reflow soldering of microelectronic components and packages. The large work area permits high production soldering rates. The furnace provides precise automatic control of heating and cooling in a vacuum or inert gas positive pressure. A blank or custom-machined hot plate is heated directly from below with radiant flux emitted from a three-phase planar graphite resistive element. Machine control is provided by a user-friendly embedded control system operating in a
Microsoft Windows environment. A color flat panel display and computer keyboard provide the operator interface. Process profiles are easily created, edited and cataloged using a simple text editor. Optionally, all run parameters may be real-time displayed and archived for SPC and subsequent off-line data analysis.
